The reporter learned from hefei customs on April 1st that according to customs statistics, from January to February, the import and export of our province to One Belt And One Road countries increased by 55.5% over the same period last year to 23.23 billion yuan. Among them, exports amounted to 16.64 billion yuan, up 56.4 percent; Imports reached 6.59 billion yuan, up 53.5%. The import and export value to the countries along the "Belt and Road" accounted for 25.7%, 31.8% and 17.3% of the corresponding total value of our province in the same period respectively.

Data show that in the first two months, the growth rate of import and export of our province to "One Belt And One Road" countries along the routes was 31.6 percentage points higher than the overall growth rate of the whole country in the same period, which was the largest monthly growth rate since 2020.


In terms of trade mode, general trade accounted for more than 70% of imports and exports, while processing trade accounted for more than 80% of imports and exports. From January to February, the import and export of our province to "One Belt And One Road" countries along the routes in the way of general trade reached 18.09 billion yuan, an increase of 50.3%, accounting for 77.9% of the total import and export value of our province to "One Belt And One Road" countries along the routes in the same period; Import and export through processing trade reached 3.91 billion yuan, up 83.1 percent; Import and export through bonded logistics totaled 750 million yuan, an increase of 32.1%.


According to statistics, import and export of all kinds of enterprises have maintained growth. From January to February, the import and export of private enterprises in our province to "One Belt And One Road" countries was 12.53 billion yuan, up 55.4%, accounting for 54%; The import and export of state-owned enterprises reached 5.92 billion yuan, up 53.7 percent; The import and export of foreign-invested enterprises reached 4.78 billion yuan, up 58.1%.


India, Vietnam and Malaysia are the top three trading partners, according to the data. Exports of mechanical and electrical products accounted for more than 60 percent of the total, and exports of high-tech products increased significantly. From January to February, our province's export of mechanical and electrical products to "One Belt And One Road" countries was 10.79 billion yuan, up by 74.1%; Exports of high-tech products reached 4.34 billion yuan, up 122.2 percent. In terms of specific products, the export of photoelectric technology products, computer and communication technology products to "One Belt And One Road" countries reached 740 million yuan and 2 billion yuan, up 217.8% and 127.5% respectively.

In addition, imports of agricultural products, labor-intensive products and "two, high and capital" products all increased significantly. From January to February, our province imported 1.6 billion yuan of agricultural products from "One Belt And One Road" countries along the routes, up 92.4%, accounting for 24.3% of our import value to countries along the routes in the same period. Imports of labor-intensive products reached 520 million yuan, up 46.4%, accounting for 7.9%; Imports of "two high capital" products reached 1.28 billion yuan, an increase of 49%, accounting for 19.4%.
